11x14" paper! Professional graphite pencil kit! Next level drawing apparatus is complete!The library in Canterlot we saw in the first episode, where our favorite egghead dwelt all day reading every last book in the library. Can you imagine such a feat?
I gave it a more steampunk/victorian feel to it, as if this was how it looked way back when.
I'm not gonna lie, I don't really like this one. Didn't turn out right. It's probably my lack of experience with actual art pencils.. I'm not sure if I should keep using them or not. Or maybe it's because this took me what seemed to be forever to finish it and that set my standards ridiculously high. Maybe both? well, whatever. Hope you like it more than I do.
Completion time~ 28 hours over a period of 6 days.

Wow, your angle really captures the vastness of the library! That, combined with the achromatic color scheme makes the library seem like a cold, but welcoming place...quite proper for a center of knowledge and research! I quite like it! That's a style we don't often see, paired with a neat set I had all but forgotten about. It looks like an architectural rendering - that is to say, attention to detail, strong layout, and a very realistic vision of it. I, for one, am very pleased by how it turned out!

You can say you don't like how this turned out, but I still really like this one. The details are, as always, fantastic, and the place just looks so inviting. 'Come in, sit a while, read a book.' That's what this picture is telling me to do. That couch in the background just looks so comfortable... I also love the half-picture of the outside, which is pretty much obscured by the window, but you can still make out the mountains and clouds. That's awesome.
Wait... if this is 11 feet by 14 feet, how did you scan it? Or is it a picture of the picture? I am confused.

I have a 0.3 mechanical. Eeyup. For me, going from 8.5x11 to 11x14 was a massive step. If anything, I felt there wasn't enough detail in this one. Oh well, I know my limits, haha : )
