Another sketch dump of what's been brewing incomplete in my sketchbook whilst my dA gallery here remains seemingly inactive.
But let's pretend they're finished and I just submitted 7 deviations for your enjoyment! Lemme give you the run-down for each individual piece:

1. NIC-REC - The initials stand for something, TBA later in full. But in a series of several models of armor dubbed NIC, this is the "recon" model that Devon wore prior to the main timeline featured in my yet-pending-maybe-someday comic. Basically this is the front and full helmet to this. Still a concept, not quite happy with the helmet itself, but I'm pretty sure the armor is solid as is.

2. Subtle Changes - We've got a young Devon in uniform on the left and the older but still smirky version of her on the right that once again, is the primarily featured version of her in my story.

3. Mobian Armory - A glimpse at some more Mobian weapon designs. The MAR (MobianAssualtRifle) goes through 3 numbered iterations, I didn't get around to drawing the first. It would've been a 'primitive' projectile based model compared to it's more 'sophisticated' energy based descendants.
No, that is not intended to be Fox McCloud over there... I have to redesign my concept of the helmet of the Mobian Military so it doesn't look like I'm biting off Star Fox But that little doodled guy is just supposed to be demonstrating the unique way Mobians wield their two-handed firearms. Contrary to the way we use a trigger located more or less in the center-rear of a rifle and steady the barrel with our extended free-hand, in the randomness of how Mobian technology developed differently from ours they hold a handle in the rear of the weapon to pivot off of and point with the trigger located more towards the front of the barrel. That way a Mobian soldier would be found using the butt of the rifle anchored to their chest as a fulcrum while their trigger arm is extended to both aim and steady the barrel directly.

4. New Duds for Rossi - *kiss-the-thunder far earlier ran a poll for who thought her character Rosalyne needed a costume revamp and for possible suggestions if so. I didn't think it was necessary, but couldn't help doodling some possibilities. These sketches along with a number of others not pictured were already shared with her and feedback was received, but these were my favorite two sketches out of them. More of a combat/sneaking suit on the left for when she went on a mission for a bounty and just casual clothes on the right.
NOTE: These were drawn for the fun of it. I never assumed to be seriously recommending changing Rachael's character and likewise by that sentiment these do not reflect the canon appearance of said creator's OC. Consider it a divergent fanart!

5. Sometime in the not-so near future... - Now what could I honestly be hoping to achieve by mapping an unidentified controller like this? Nothing yet...
Fellow gamer-geeks, catch anything interesting about those button commands? If you're not scared off by my handwriting...

6. Mag... now! - Unfinished part 1 of a multi-character sketch I had in mind featuring the several custom permutations of MJOLNIR armor I've drawn already, plus a new one! This is actually inspired off of the sources I used to draw this guy, and he's reaching into the foreground where another Spartan will be located, asking for a spare clip while he keeps his eyes down-range.
Gives you a tiny non-glamorous glimpse at how rough I do my reference models for posing my characters for sketches before detailing them.

7. Puts the 'S' in "Spartan" - That would stand for Sally of course
A looooooong while back some person suggested I draw Sally in MJOLNIR armor, I actually did doodle something way back when, but it was ugly! Recently been seeing the styles of various ones such as ~zeiram0034 , ~NMac1983 , ~AVCHonline , & =Skylined-53 which feature a darker more militarized version of Sally and/or the Freedom Fighters. I don't personally care for this myself to be truthful, I may create characters that are more serious and have backgrounds in my own fictional Mobian Military, but I frankly don't like changing the FFs from being what they were and continue to be, a band of youths rising up and resisting an evil tyrant using their brains and bravery rather than guns and violence. But this all doesn't mean I can't enjoy and appreciate what these ones do in their own gallery But when I also came across ~Chris000 , who specifically draws a cross-over between Halo and Sonic, I couldn't help but be reminded of that earlier suggestion.
So here's an incomplete armored Sally
