Description Finally here it is, the one you’ve all been waiting for, I held off for as long as I could but in the end I gave in, hop[e you guys love it as much as I do

Pikachu’s are one of the most well known of all the Pokémon. They are favoured by electric trainers and though at first hard to train they are very loyal. They live in long grassed areas and eat insects and vegetation. They are often seen digging in peoples gardens and eating their vegetables. They live in burrows but only breed twice a year so that is why there are not many of them. Each litter there are two babies, which is closely guarded by the mother. Their electric sacks are located in their cheeks and can store up a large amount of energy. They most gain it from static electricity and are seen rubbing themselves against things to try and charge themselves up. They use electricity more for protection than hunting as they are often prayed upon by hunters such as Fearow and Pidgot. They are very cute and cuddly once they trust you, but you must know how to handle them or youll end up with a nasty shock.

hove you love it

I have been curious for a little while now. Since Evo has a more realistic feel to it, I assume getting shocked by Pikachu would be fatal.

JoshuaDunlop In reply to smashmaniac2008 [2010-02-18 14:07:23 +0000 UTC]

i know, pikachu looks nothing like a mouse and looks more like a bunny/pika (orginal animal its based on) so i went for that design

👍: 1 ⏩: 2

calone21 In reply to JoshuaDunlop [2013-08-04 17:45:53 +0000 UTC]

That's because he was redesigned. Originally he was fatter, his ears were much shorter, and his arms weren't so long. His original design in both the anime and game was based off a mouse.

JoshuaDunlop In reply to calone21 [2013-08-05 12:36:38 +0000 UTC]

your very right, but obviously go off his new design

👍: 1 ⏩: 1

smashmaniac2008 In reply to JoshuaDunlop [2010-02-18 23:07:25 +0000 UTC]

no the closest living relative to it is a rabbits. akin to why they are sometimes called rock rabbits.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

JoshuaDunlop In reply to smashmaniac2008 [2010-02-18 23:25:07 +0000 UTC]

i swear i watched a thing about them being related to elephants... anyway even so still proves my point, the thing pikachu is based on is a type of rabbit

👍: 1 ⏩: 1

smashmaniac2008 In reply to JoshuaDunlop [2010-02-18 23:57:17 +0000 UTC]

yes it is based on a rabbit but it is still a mouse pokemon lol. a mouse rabbit

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

JoshuaDunlop In reply to smashmaniac2008 [2010-02-19 09:19:22 +0000 UTC]

Everyone who draws Pokemon has to draw Pikachu at some point. It's unavoidable.

pink-anthony [2009-09-06 18:29:14 +0000 UTC]

Thats amazing

And Pikachu is an electric rodent, and a rabbit is a rodent, so you got it right. It looks better as a rabbit anyway!

👍: 0 ⏩: 2

PonchoFirewalker01 In reply to pink-anthony [2009-12-18 15:50:05 +0000 UTC]

Well, actually the rabbit is not a rodent, it's a lagomorph. But I agree, it looks better.

Can you give me an explanation on water type pokemon and how they shoot water.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

JoshuaDunlop In reply to SmashBrosDude [2009-05-29 19:22:14 +0000 UTC]

im sure ive explained it on one of the squirtle-blastoise pictures? Basically they have a thing called a 'water bladder'. its an organ/muscle that can take on a huge amount of water by compresses it tightly. the compressed water, being under pressure, causes a fast burst when released. Like letting off a bottle rocket. These then project powerful water streams. If in water they can constantly refill their water bladder and can appear as if they have an endless supply of water spouts, whereas out of water their water supply can eventually dwindle.

SmashBrosDude In reply to JoshuaDunlop [2009-05-29 19:35:12 +0000 UTC]

ok now how about electric types explain them

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

JoshuaDunlop In reply to SmashBrosDude [2009-05-30 00:13:17 +0000 UTC]

electric pokemon have electrical sacks in their cheeks/upper body which have powerful electrical storing jel in them, symilar to a battery. they can store huge amounts of electricity in them and by channeling them through their electrical pours (in their skin, scales or hair folicals) can make jolts of static charge.
