Description

The crowd roared, screaming for more action as the trainer returned his fainted Pokemon. On the far side of the field a large Venusaur growled triumphantly. It’s large leafy palms hung from the top of its body and its huge flower stretched high. Its thick, stumpy legs sunk into the grass and its beady yellow eyes scanned the field.

The trainer was down to his last Pokemon, it all came down to this… He unclipped the Pokeball from his belt and assessed the scene. Hundreds of battle plans flicked through his mind as he wound back and with a powerful throw, flung the ball high into their air. With a flash of bright light, a large shape appeared on the field. Its thick fuchsia plates shifted as it stepped forward and swung its long heavy tail high in the air. With an audible boom it crashed it into the soil below. Large glistening spikes filled with toxins twitched in the floodlights and two flapping ears shook off the dust as it opened its maroon eyes.

It was a Nidoking...
