Thought I'd have some fun with Paras and Parasect and do some paint overs of Ken Sugimoris' original artwork
1: Normal Kanto.
2: After the Mushroom kills them and they become bug/Ghost types.
3: Living in symbiosis with the mushroom instead of slowly being killed by them.
4: Cured of the mushroom.
5: if they had never had been introduced to the mushrooms.
6: If they lived in symbiosis with a plant

I thought he was a water type though,
can I see you do diglet if he was a ground paras? dweble if it's just rock?
cuz I'd love to see those pokemon make sense now, not wackamoles and, simply not happenings?
like what if you poisoned one, would he form a cascoona called a kakuna to heal, and then you get a beedriller parasect
and that's what that is? cuz we kill hornets, probably worse than scythers, I think Paras is a lot trippy, cool,

I think the only part I don't like, concept-wise, is how harmonious Paras is missing its mouthparts, especially since its cured and primal versions still have them. The change feels kind of... needless, I guess?
Other than that, I really like this. The ghost and primal versions are my favorites, I think. It makes me think that there should be more explicitly "undead" PokΓ©mon in the Ghost-type besides the Yamask and Phantump lines and Shedinja.

It was more an example of how Parasect completely loses the mouth part when it evolves from Paras, which in itself is pretty needless. I was just experimenting with making them more similar, the same way I did with the Primal.

I wish this was canon.
I actually think this is possible and reasonable for the games. Not just as a regional variant but as something like Wormadan. You'd obtain them through different means. Regular Parasect and Ghost Parasect are as dark as heck. The other 4 look like they're functioning just fine.

I always hated the Paras / Parasect pokemon. Just the thought of becoming a "zombie" because of a mushrooms..Β christ man...
