Description
Hey Gang, Another sketch from the Pangea game! Here are some sketches I managed to squeeze in today giving some examples of how Sauropod saddles could work.
There are so many possibilities with saddles, it's quite exciting!

The term you'd be looking for for the Saddle would be Howda.

just a note it's not important I just want you to do it on purpose rather than by accident.
the shape of an animals back and the area that a person sits on it are important for the health of an animal. howdahs cause serious chronic pain for asian elephants because their backs arch up, but the carriage puts all the weight at the place that is supposed to be highest pressing it down.
horses and the north african elephants howdahs were invented for have downward arching back so the middle can better take the weight.
this in mind, from an animal wellness standpoint the saddle on this animal would be better set closer to its shoulders.
I love your work, it's just my ocd that is forcing me to share this. hope you don't mind xD

I had visions of these since I was a little kid back in the 1980s. It's still a beautiful idea to me now.

horses were the same at first. actually, they were smaller and weaker than zebras, the advantage of horses was their temperament(zebras are assholes) it took centuries to get horses we could ride, and 6,000 to get modern draft horses which are monsters compared to even what they were in the middle ages.
so I think we could breed a decent riding boy given time

Who knows, but these would be bred dinosaurs, so, like the horse, they could probably carry a lot

Some prefer form over function. While I won't deny there's an allure to the fancy, i'm more practical.
