Description
Pidgeotto are exelent hunters. They have amazing eyesight and can spot prey from nearly a mile up! They have a unique trait of being able to seem motionless in the sky, then drop to extreamly high speeds onto their unsuspecting prey. They have razor sharpe claws which they use to kill their prey instantly.
Pidgeotto have been a favorite of trainers for years, as they are powerful pokemon and very loyal. They will learn moves very quickly and will protect their owner fearcly.
They dont breed though they do have the ability, they are still to young to be carful parents and most attempts to breed Pidgeotto have failed, they either trample their eggs or knock them out of the nest.
Their gust attacks are one of its traits, by flapping their wings hard they can cause strong winds that pick up dirt and sand. Some are so powerful the sand can burn your skin.
Hope you like it

The background and shadows of the leaves are the best part here. The bird itself is pretty close to what pidgeotto's usually seen as. The legs are good though.
Geez, pokemon must be tough. If the sand from a pidgeotto's sand attack can burn skin, it's a wonder that the attack never ever damages the opponent.
I also wonder why people didn't think of incubating the pidgeottos' eggs in machines.

they have incubated them, but you can do that to every nest in the wild can you but nif their not good parents then theirs not much point. i realise i need to give a lil more detail in the actual bird in this picture tho

I just wondered why breeding in captivity failed because they wouldn't sit on their eggs if a bird bred in captivity doesn't need its egg sat on. Why not just wait until they evolve before breeding in the wild anyway?
I don't mind about this picture so much though. The tree and shadows are so good that it's a good picture besides.

Well yer thats what im saying, in the wild they do wait until they evolve before they can breed, but they have the caperbility to breed if so needed, and attepts to breed them in captivity in as natural way as possible, failed. But they can incubate the eggs but they would have to be raised by humans which is something that most animal sancturys want to avoid. You see?

Ah see. But what'd make breeding them as pidgeottos and not pidgeots so important?

it isnt, it would be in a case where they cannot or will not evolve where they might try it if they had no pidgeots?
