Description
This is one of my own HM creations. Kinda annoyed me that i could never ride around on my Dodrio or Arcanine in the games and go at the speed of bikes or something.So here it is, Dodrio in a Riding saddle. They are commonly seen in races and are known as 'Sprinters' as they run so fast. and before anyone asks... no they cannot fly, no matter what you can do in the games, they already have three heads lets not be ridiculous further and say those tiny wings could fly.

Yes, and so you can pull all the heads in the direction you want them to go symoltaniously so they don't get distracted

Nice Job And did you know that in the new Pokemon X and Y They may let you ride your pokemon in the cities but so far only the new pokemon Gogoat is known to let you do that?

I never believed that dodrio could actually fly. Maybe it just had impressive leg strength and could leap great heights, and its bones were strong enough to take the impacts of its landings. And whenever I just fly on it to go places, I imagined you simply rode it there at such a great speed, you 'flew' across the land.XD
This being said, nintendomand gamefreak NEED to make a Pokemon mount racing game. While of course not all Pokemon would be in it, just the ones big enough and practical enough to ride, it would make a great game. And if you could link to the main games and use your own mount Pokemon, that would make it even more awesome. Just have game stats translate into racing stats, and you could train your own racer with the obvious species limitations so not every poke races just as well stat wise as any other. I'd be good to see who'd make great sprinters or endurance runners, or use your favorite so you'll be challenged in areas they're handicapped in. It'd go we'll with Pokemon training, but instead of training to fight, you'd train to race. Sorta like the Pokemon contest where you have the option of raising a Pokemon for something other then battles.XD

I hope you're able to. I know this guy I'm watching that does realistic Pokemon art just got his art book published and started selling this week. I'm sure he had to get permission from gamefreak to do so, and I'd love to see your stuff published as well.

Heh, I love his artwork as well as all of the other Realistic artist like him.
There's this one dude whose name I forget, but he redesigned Roggenrolla's line as wood lice/lobster mixes. Which worked out really well.

This is really clever and all choices make a lot of sense! I hope you don't mind if I use this as inspiration to design a saddle for my character who uses his dodrio for riding. I'd of course credit you.

ever seen ostrich riding? i doubt the birds like that. Id say having a comfortable saddle and having a trained rider makes it as comfortable as it can be.

hey, i just wanted to say that i was looking through alot of your work, they are just AMAZING! i made an account JUST so i could tell you(: you should do some kind of thing- idunno how to say it xD but the way your drawing these, the pokemon. i could so see a movie being themed around the way you draw these, everything coming to life instead of a repetitive cartoon. it would be really cool to see that happen. your amazing, so keep it up

I always figured flying on a doduo or dodrio would involve it running back to the nearest centre anyway.
Another interesting and outlandish set of pokemon riding gear. I must say, blinding two of the heads sounds a little cruel, but then again, I think people did something along those lines to hawks. And horses get blinders.
I must say, dodrio is one of the best pokemon you've done.
