I have this weird feeling that you really like to draw charizard.
Now, I do often judge most of your evo work first and foremost on whether it is believable or not, but this time, I really feel the need to simply sit back and allow myself to be bedazzled by your amazing work on the composition itself.
Usually, I'm not especially impressed by awesome when I comment on realistic pokemon, because real life isn't always necessarily awesome, but this scene is just incredible. It looks like something straight out of a movie. The rain, the clouds, the lightning, and the fire from both the charizard's tail and its mouth all make the battle look so dramatic, it's simply wonderful to look at.
The pokemon here are top notch too. Dragonite looks great with the muscle and skin textures, though it doesn't look that much like a mammal here (which your previous articles on the line seem to portray them as). Charizard, while you've got quite a bit of practice on it already, is still really impressive to look at.
Great battle scene. You really know how to make a picture.

Thank you very much... its hard to keep a rubbery feel on skin and still keep detail... i tried to scratch it up a bit to make it look like its been in a battle

i absolutely worship your poke-evo gallery, friggin awesome.. one thing about this pic bothers me tho, compared to the epic realism of the charizard the dragonite looks a bit plain, somehow lacking detail.. maybe that's just me though.

its because it has whale like skin, in mine its a marine mammal so its hard to give any form of detail on rubber like skin if you get me?
