I kinda liked this idea of a knight looking to slay a dragon, but quickly realised the creature didn't want to hurt him, so he laid down his sword and vowed to protect it

I love the idea! A bit like a HTTYD/Dragonheart combination. I'm a sucker for Dragon stories where the dragon is NOT a murderous beast.
