By request... and because I had the images lying around from the last lightning bug girl tutorial.

I dont know how to use layers...

how can u make the ink stay on top or everything but not not the stuff in between the lines. when i ink my drawing and try to bring the ink to the top of the layer, my original draw pops up with just the ink and covers everything up, and if i try to color the color covers my inking lines.... anyone know whats wrong?

Did you set your layers to multiply instead or normal ?

This is one of the most helpful tutorials I've come across on DA. I love the style you do your eyes and this tutorial has helped me countless times. The details are clear and easy to follow, even for beginners at photoshop. I'm not a newbie at it, but this has helped me learn quite a lot.

omg ty i needed this. I am getting photoshop 2morrow on mi computer (i work on a mac, it is the most updated version of PS buahhaha). I mean, i have worked on photoshop b4 on mi dad's computer, but this is sooooo much kooler than all mi work but 2gether a million times ova... that is an understatement
