well full color is nice, but I've discovered that in most tutorials that cover coloring a lot of different things at once, most of them are so vague you can't really learn anything from them x x I should know...they never helped me which is why I just started doing my own thing. But I hope my lil crappy mini-tuts can help

prisma colors work soo well that my art teacher has to get some every now and then but it's all he uses they are so good to work with also really helpful

Prismacolors bleed and feather so much, it's really difficult to do anything of detail with them... Do you have any tips for that?
A great tutorial, by the way. I used to use the crayolas in my art class because my teacher had the delux mega box with all the really cool colors like tiger orange and that cool sage green color. Anyway...yeah. Great cheap-marker tips!

my tip for prismas is just take your time XD *colors with pretty much anything fairly easy*
honestly the crayolas bleed though the paper just as much as crayolas do for me...the crayolas are prolly worse tho cus they bleed to the point of destroying the paper

I usually draw things within a 8-1/2 x 11" space, and usually include a TON of detail. Do you think I would have an easier time with my prismas if I started trying to work in larger dimensions?
And I agree, when I layer crayolas, they always end up eating through the paper...bleh XP

you probably would have an easier time...but I work under those same dimensions and I have no problems

I'm so glad someone made the piont that you don't need expensive state of the art materials.
-plus now that I think about it Prisma Markers are sort of a pain in the ass....-
