By request... and because I had the images lying around from the last lightning bug girl tutorial.
As usual, feedback appreciated. I'd love to hear your own tips and tricks, as well as requests and suggestions for other tutorials. Enjoy!

Wow. This is so useful! I love the glowy effect in the first eyes - and the fact that you can change the layer colour and therefore eye colour by hue/saturation is a new idea for me, so thanks!!

who would wanna draw anime? It's been around for like 13 years now, and is a tired art form. It was good in the days when it was underground, and it was like 'hey that cartoon has awesome animation and swearing. and all the chaacters have big eyes and small noses and green hair, despite they have japanese names.'

haha. Some people don't draw anime because it is popular, some people draw it, because it is what they want, they want to draw that style of art

I can draw anime if I wish, but it would be incredibly boring, been into it since I was 9, and I'm now 21. Sick of seeing it too- the characters are all ultra deformed, there's no real humor in anime, and it's so cute n plasic it makes yer wanna be sic.

very good tut you have done a good job putting it together. One thing which would be good. You should do a tut on doing anime characters who have pupils in there eyes. Thats is the only thing this tut is missing. Apart from that you have done a very good job.
