Hello and welcome to the next project of mine. It is the counter-part characters to the Turbomasters being the evil Decepticon Predators.
I love the Decepticon Predators and wanted to do a fan The Ark book / Sunbow cel animation style character model sheet for the character Falcon.
Falcon can transform into a Lockheed F-117A Nighthawk - Stealth Jet and into a robot and back again!
Falcon is described as "Devilishly clever and utterly evil."
The Predators can fire green missiles from their hand-held missile launchers. Their main power and gimmick is called the Megavisor that can be utilized in their alt modes with a scope that gives the Predators Supersight ability. The gimmick is hidden inside each Predator's body structure which I will design further into the future.

I stuck true as possible to Falcon's toy and toy artwork's design with minor alterations.

It is still in WIP mode and may tweak it in the future but for now I wanted to share it with you all and liked to know what you think!

Not much to say aside from a very fine job that you did mixing the source material, and Sunbow's style, into this incredible piece.

Thank you very much, I really appreciate it Martin! ^o^ He has a cool toy design but to implement that into Sunbow style, was a interesting task, mainly because on the toy he has no waste/hips/crotch so thus making a design that would work to connect his torso and legs.

Well, it is very toy-like, I'll admit. Does make for a different type of design than we're used to see, too. I'm a little torn now between replicating your design (when I get to the Predators eventually) and sticking with the more "traditional" one like they did in the TFCC comics . Well, what little there's to see of it anyway. :/

Yeah having the toy, just helps immensely to brainstorm ideas from a point of reference. Thank you, that makes me happy to hear! ^_^ Oh interesting and thanks for sharing. I see what you mean about the design in the comic. For me I love sticking to the 2 references I got which are from the toy and toy artwork. I want to not be influenced by any other source material, that way I can come up with an original design and while it is great to see different designs from other source materials, yeah I'm happy what I can develop. I hope you are torn in a good way! But without a doubt I'm sure you'll do the same with your own designing of the toys/characters and find a happy medium. Now that I know now you are going to use my own designs as references (which I truly am humbled by if you do), I will definitely keep in mind too how I design the rest of the Predators while still sticking to my original plans for their full designs!

Oh my, yes of course I will use your designs as part of my references. They're excellent designs! And some of the best, and extremely rare artwork for the Turbomasters and Predators out there. And please, do not let the fact that your designs are helping me with mine change any plans you had for the remainder of the Predators. I'd very much like to see them as you envision them, not "biased" (not the right word here; brain is stuck in French mode and I can't think of the correct one hence this entire script here) or "especially designed for". That's what makes them so special: they're your designs and ideas.

That means so much Martin, thank you!
It is one of the main reasons I am creating them which you understand, It's always about the labour of love and passion and I know you see that and I'm always happy to share them with you all.
Yes of course! I merely meant that its inspiring and want to do a good job so it reflects well.
Haha I think you described it well enough and I understand!
Again thanks a lot for the awesome feedback and kind words!!

Great work here, JP. Your Turbomasters and Predators drawings really bring back memories for me. I remember thinking that I never saw them in cartoons but only the toys at the shops and remember thinking that they were strange because of the pink and green eyes. Great work again!
