If the Director has glasses, does that mean Church should have them as well?I waver on the issue. The Director's glasses could just be a visual cue to his old age, but Young!Director was 'unable to sacrifice himself for humanity as did so many others,' which leads me to think he was unfit for military service -as a soldier, anyway- and maybe therefore had poor eyesight too?
Either way, Church is an AI/robot and can't have imperfect vision. So that answers that I guess. Lol.
Still, I thought it was a cute idea. And it would explain a lot if it was true...

Yeah, I'm sure the actual reason has to do with the fact that the Director was never combat trained, and so anything created from him would be as equally useless with a gun.

That's why this is more of a gag than anything. I really don't know why a robot would have imperfect vision XD;
I suppose the official things is that he thing is that since the Director was unable to become a soldier, he never had any experience with firearms in the battlefield. Since Church is the Alpha, the AI based off of the Director, Church also lacks this skill. So Church sucks at aiming as a result XD

At first I thought this was ((CENSORED FOR SPOILERS)), which would make it rather sad and ironic given recent events in the AU fic Murderer's Row; then I saw that it was Church, and I felt stupid.
