It should work as long as you have something in the foreground to focus on.

great tutorial - what focus do you usually use to not see the bakground, rather small numbers I suspect but how small? if I may ask

That's actually a great little tip, and simple to do to get some nice bokeh. I might have to try that to mix up my poor bit of photography a bit. Thanks for sharing.

this helps me really. I was a lot time ago take this shot , I was having in a vase some flowers and the [link] flowers are the coloured colours behind the flower that you can see.
