A little something I did today to avoid homework. I've always wanted to draw Merida's hair, but no matter how hard I tried I never managed to get the colors right. Guess I finally did, and MY GOD was it fun. Also tried out new coloring techniques, not using as many layers as I normally do (Just one for the hair and one for the face/dress). To be honest, I am very happy how this worked out!Merida from Pixar's BRAVE.
UPDATE: Wasn't too happy of how the lips ended up, so I gave them a cleaner finish. Much better now!

impressive! tt reminds me a lot of the illustrations of a children book i used to read long time ago.
