Sometimes one must say "to hell" to the rule of thirds and just have the subject prominent, front and center, reaching from edge to edge of the frame. That is just my excuse for barely being able to contain this pompous proboscis.
When I zoom in, it almost looks like cat fur, and then I catch a glimpse of an insect leg... What a bizarre creature...
