Description 「 NARUTO SHIPPUDEN | INO’S MESSAGE 」

As soon as Yukiko showed up to Konoha, Ino sent a letter to Gaara. She didn’t adress it to him as the Kazekage but really him as an individual.

When the falcon came to him Gaara was pretty surprised reading the name of the expeditor. Ino ?
Gaara remembered the blond even if they rarely exchanged. He associates her to Yukiko. The girls seemed to be a good friends. They were always together…

Gaara couldn’t help but thinking a letter from Ino had something to do with Yukiko. Any news from the girl from Land of Iron. ? Was she getting married ? Or worst was she dead ?

Gaara opened the message. In the scroll there was a red petal he recognised immediately. It was from the flowers that grow in Yukiko’s thorns.

« Your girl is in Konoha, you better hurry. »

🌺 NOTES 🌺

Gaara didn’t hear from Yukiko since the 2nd chuunin exam two years prior when she left. She was still in Land of Iron.
He remembers how she hated it there… And she didn’t want to follow her father home. But she had to.

He wished he could have seen her again. But he just couldn’t correspond with her nor admit his growing feelings for her… not that her father would have allow it anyways.

After she left everything went so fast in his life.
He became Kazekage and with that came a lot of responsabilities. So going to Land of Iron to see her was out of question. He represents his country, the Kazekage in Land of Iron could create great tensions between the Daimyos.
Especially if he was to court the daughter of the Lord of Iron…
