Description Finally getting back into this little project of mine. And hopefully soon, i can get it all done systematically, and without much delay. For now, though, let's delve into who voices who. And the reason why i chose each one.

Mothra: Nicole Oliver (Princess Celestia of "My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic") - If my memory is clear enough to recall, alot of other folks have picked ms Nicole Oliver as a VA candidate for Mothra. And why shouldn't they? As Celestia, she puts on an air of maternal care, kindness, and compassion for others. She is very wise (for the most part), and is a protector of her world. Meaning that even though both Celestia and Mothra are both beautiful, regal, majestic, and compassionate, in a serious fight neither of them are pushovers. I chose Ms Oliver as Celestia because i feel she embodies everything that makes Mothra who she is. In story, she is a wise, and caring Guardian who will protect life as hard as she can, and can hold her own against the likes of Godzilla. But there are moments where she cannot prevail. Then again, that is what makes her avoid being too perfect - otherwise if she were TOO powerful, she would lose interest as a character. And hopefully, you guys will find interest in the choice, as well.

Armored/Mothra Leo: Will Friedle (Lion-O from "Thundercats 2011") - I wonder if anyone else considered this option? Because this one came to me out of the blue. And yet, i feel the reasoning behind my choice still stands well enough: both Lion-O and Leo are the heir successors to a great legacy, and their respective parents. After said parents are killed, both characters are forced to assume their mantle, and become heroes in their own rights. And i feel like the two have those elements in common, at least. And Will Friedle has a voice that sounds like a teenager, yet also carries a sense of maturity. That's the kind of performance i'd want for Leo: to sound as young as he should, given he's pretty much a teenager at this point in time, but one who has gained enough experience through his adventures to be as close to the wisdom that his mother had as he could. Plus, i think that slick voice matches Mothra Leo to a T.

Battra: J. Michael Tatum (Scar from "Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood") - There is evil in this world. Hatred, and Revenge. These are often the cogs which spin the wheels of this malevolent aspect. Yet for some, they are the antitoxin to the disease that is evil. As it was with the Ishvalan survivor, Scar, who sought a one-man vendetta against the country who supposedly exterminated his entire country, his people, his friends AND family. All of it drove him to the brink of insane fury, and relentless revenge as he tore down all who stood in his way. This was a man consumed by rage and hate, who only wanted to make the world pay for its sins against him. And J. Michael Tatum portrayed this most excellently. But as well as anger, and hatred, there was also a sense of intelligence, and wisdom which only slightly balanced him out. While for the most part, he was calm, and collected, he still unleashed a great rage upon his enemies which could not be matched by any. And yet, in time, he soon began to realize that the path he was going down wasn't the right one. In his senseless hate, and anger, he cost the lives of innocent people who only wished to help him - and in doing so, very nearly sparked the same fire of hate within Winry when she came face to face with him the first time. This was the initial wake-up call to make him realize that his actions had consequence - in addition to meeting more surviving Ishvalans who warned him what his hate would bring about. Then, when Major Miles, the half-ishvalan came along and explained what HIS personal mission was, it changed Scar's perspective even further. Especially when he once more faced Winry, and remorsefully admitted his own sins. In addition to learning of the true perpetrators of his countries destruction, this encounter changed a Scar from a relentless berserker, to a wiser man who had a new hope instilled within him. And in the end, he was vital to saving the world from annihilation. Michael Tatum did fantastically portraying his emotions: from anger and rage, to calm wisdom, and great strength which blended together excellently. Battra himself doesn't seem all that different from Scar in certain depictions, and in some ways. He also sought vengeance against humanity for the harm of the world he cherished, and new. He was an unrelenting foe who would not yield until his eyes were forced open, and he realized what he was doing. Thus leading him to sacrifice himself to defeat Godzilla. In short, like Scar, he was a vengeful destroyer who eventually redeemed himself. The strongest similarity which has driven my pick for his VA. I just hope it sticks.

Gorosaurus: Fred Tatasciore (The Thing from "Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes") - This one was a bit tricky. I knew i had to pick Fred Tatasciore because he knows how to portray a fighter. And not just a tough fighter, but one considered a real monster. In the end, i ended up settling for his portrayal of The Thing from EMH. Even though he was only in 2 episodes, Ben Grimm was still portrayed pretty well by Fred Tatasciore - and it was fun seeing him duel with himself as Thing AND Hulk. This was the pick for Gorosaurus because the kanga-dino is a tough old fighter who never backs down from a fight. Not only that, but aside from being somewhat stubborn at times, he is a loyal companion who will always pull through for you when you need him most. The same goes for Thing. And with Tatasciore as his voice, i most certainly think people in the kaiju world would understand what the meaning of "It's clobberin' time!" really means.

And with that, part 2 is complete. Now let's hope i can get through the next.......several parts. Hooooh, boy!

Thank you. Of course, i figured you'd agree: one portrays the epitome of peace, and harmony. The other is cold vengeance. It made perfect sense to me.

I'll bet if Battra were female, you'd choose the voice for Luna.

Maybe. Or someone i know is similar to Scar, but is less prone to rage.

I think Keith Wickham (Jack of Blades in "Fable") would be great as Destoroyah.

Just glad i made the ending credits for "The Kaiju Chronicles". It's helping me keep track of who i cast as who, and remember WHY i picked them. With my lousy memory, i definitely need it.

Don't we all? But then again, that's why we write things down: so we don't forget important things. And i'm making sure i do that from now on.
