Let me just love you forever now, this tutorial really helped me, like A LOT (also the comments about how to clean the nibs, I've tried keroscene and water, but never alcohol, I'll make sure to give alcohol a try in the next time, though I'm not really sure my ink is alcohol soluble >: ), one question, you think it's easier to do all the lineart without line thickness and after it's pretty much done you go back adding thicker lines where you want to or just go working the lines thickness as you go? (?)

Hello I am glad that it helped you,
As for line thickness I do it along while inking most of the time, and since its dip-pen it kinda happens naturally.
Then after that I usually look at my drawing as a whole and adjust/tinker the line thickness accordingly.

What do you do to clean your nibs? I usually just use water and a paper towel but I heard of some using alcohol and some use keroscene[?]. o__o
And how do you know when a nib is done and ready for the trash. I've used the same one for over a year, I just love it, but I'm sure it's ready to be replaced. I'm so attached to objects. lol

Thank you
I use alcohol since the ink I'm using is alcohol soluble. I have never heard of using kerosene though. Before I use water, its seems to make my nib rust more easily. I just pour some alcohol to a rug then I wipe the nib.
I only have replaced one nib and that is the one I bent after I drop it while it is in the holder. The line it produces was not as thin as before (its a Maru) so I replaced it. I am using most of them for a year now too.
On the other hand I have a habit of stacking up my tools oO.

As for keroscene she used it when she ran out of turpentine. I'll have to try to alcohol. I'm not sure what my ink is. It's Pilot ink for drawing. *Shrugs*

Turpentine (I think I have a bottle of it (checks art tools)) I should try that.
