One of the last pieces I was gonna do for Artist Alley. Dagara is one of my favorite one-shot Toho kaiju ever, it's too bad he never got another shot to shine.Related content

Dargarha's concept is pretty interesting. A monster who consumes oceanic pollution to use as energy? A global warming buster! Shame that it uses that power to take over the world...

Toho could stand to be more creative with their monsters in this fashion, I think Dhagarla really paid off as an interesting monster overall.

Awesome! He looks extremely cool! This piece came out very well! Its really a shame this guy didn't see the limelight after his debut. Hes a pretty epic kaiju. I can see why you love him so much

Glad you like this one, it was another of those "artist alley" pics I wanted to take to G-Fest this year, and I was really happy with this one. Dhagarla is just....special, I mean it's so different than a lot of the monsters and it was the ONLY time Toho tried to be creative with the Mothra trilogy. You'd think he'd survive to shine another day.

O O O O! My favorite villain of the Mothra series. And to be honest the 2nd movie was much better than the 3rd IMO. Dagarla's Jaws like theme was awesome

Dhagarla's the man, seriously Toho should absolutely have revived him for further use in other projects *cough millennium films, cough*, but like Titanosaurus he shall simply remain one of the awesome on-shots....for now, anyway

It's true the Mothra series was never the height of Toho's franchise, but as you say he was cool, it's really a shame he was never used again in something more solid.

the first was good and the 3rd was ok the only great part about Mothra 3 is King Ghidorah's Design in the movie!
