Description

Shin Godzilla isn't terribly high on my favorites line-up in the franchise (as always don't read that as I don't like it, it's just a tastes thing that it's in my bottom third), but one thing I absolutely did like was that they were gutsy enough to really play with the formula and give Godzilla multiple forms. They were unexpected, far out and really visually appealing, and made quite the impact on the fan base. Form 2 here especially stands out extremely from any incarnation of the Big G we'd ever seen, probably part of the reason it became such a fan favorite, and thankfully Bandai didn't fail me in delivering the standard scale vinyls. If I had to nitpick I would just say that some better refined details and paint washes would have been welcome to really make the figure pop more, but it still looks totally representative of the freakish, frightening thing that little Shin here was.
