One of my favorite kaiju of the American Godzilla cartoon series, and definitely my favorite of the customs I've done from the show so far because if there's one truth about my big fanboy self it's that I love dinosaur kaiju. Even better there were two of them in the initial episode the Crypto appeared in, and it returned for the Destroy All Monsters event of the show as well. In retrospect they bear some facial resemblance to the Skull Crawlers in the Monsterverse, which probably explains why I love the Crawlers so much also.

Excellent work on Cryptocledius, he's one of my faves from the series as well, and I wish we'd seen him on Monster Island with the rest after Monster Wars. A skull faced mutant plesiosaur with claws seems like an obvious choice for recurring monster status if ya ask me >;3
He does remind me of the Skullcrawlers, or vice versa since he came first, but he also kinda reminds me of Titanosaurus in that they are both prehistoric marine reptiles named after real life animals and under alien control. Regardless, excellent work on designing this sculpture, you really captured his likeness perfectly, great colors too!

This is very impressive, I was going to make one before I broke my hand, but I was going to find a cheap Plesiosaur figure and modify it into this kaiju.

Thanks, I was looking forward to this one after Crackler just due to the fact that I like the character so much but also to be sure it was FAR easier to put together. Some of the designs of the kaiju in GTS are pretty far out and daunting for putting into figure form, but this one definitely isn't and I loved it.
Hope when you're in improved shape you find some good leads on projects since you seem to have a lot of good ideas for your own versions, I know I'd be eager to see them.

I find it kinda funny that when the series first came out it just had mediocre fan base and now 20+ years later it is very popular, and Zilla, a onetime throwaway monster has started to get the attention he deserves( the series version that is)
