Given the passing of time and finally having GOOD shots of the new Godzilla, it was time to update one of my favorite old pics. That, and in the interest of fairness give Zilla a chance for some snarky comebacks

He is still GODzilla!! No matter the japanese revoked the right to call him GODzilla only you can call him ZILLA! Load of bullshit! If Roland Emerich did not ruin that movie, it could be way more better than Godzilla 2014! Imo the 1998 GODzilla is far better than this to put it nice crap!

He is NOT Godzilla. Godzilla is not an iguana that runs away from danger, burrows and lays eggs. He is a force of nature that never backs down from a fight. The epic 2014 Godzilla redeemed the franchise and blows the 1998 film out of the water

Heh, as do I. I've never found the inside fan bickering very logical. They're both fine and excellent in their own manner. I mean yeah I like old school Godzilla and Legendary more, but Zilla will always have a special place in my adolescent heart.

Yes, Godzilla is tougher and badder, but Zilla looks so much cooler.
These days whenever I see Godzilla, all I see if a dude in a rubbish rubber suit. Thank you Power Rangers for ruining that for me!!!

The reason for the suit was because of the low budgets for each film. Believe it or not, Godzilla was originally going to be stop motion like Kong. And besides, people love practical effects more that CGI

Sorry Zilla Jr. but your cartoon to me was crap. Zilla at least your movie was enjoyable making you feel like a bit of an assassin despite you being a coward most of the time.

The 1998 film got much of the mythology wrong and ended up as a display of American arrogance ("You can't beat it with conventional weapons but we can," essentially), but I find that the film was better handled overall than the 2014 one.
