With the Xilians defeated and the world in repair, 2006 seemed to be a kaiju free year until HEAT was called to a Louisiana swamp to investigate reports of a giant flying creature, this turned out to be a giant 18 meter tall bat with a 30 meter wingspan but after a brief fight with Zilla the flying mammal was captured and put on monster island, where he helps control the population of giant insects like the Meganula and Shockiris.
