At first, I would going to call bullshit--then I saw the competition. Yowza!

Now I am surprised that it didn't make it. It must've been a tough decision to not put it amongst the finalists.

lokks pretty cool but I tink it didn't make the cut because the appearance is a bit too contolled looking with more large pieces than small ones Perhaps a more cybertonian-decepticon look would have worked (you know like megatron and the fallen and how their appearance was spiked and grungy with many small pieces like a ball of many tiny pices of foil)
but it was still very good honestly I thinbk is should have made the cut but I guess those things were too big for them

I'm a little amazed. You see, even with the best scientific minds of our era put together, it would take us over a thousand years to even begin to understand transformer technology, how this Galloway even managed to make these dinobots is mystery to me. Anyway, If there happens to be a third movie, I'm hoping he gets stepped on by something really, really, really big, maybe... Tidal Wave!

Wow, this should have really made the contest and gotten the top. Sure transforming dinosaurs are odd, but this back story makes so much sense.

This makes me wonder: Was the contest really about Designs or about doing all sortof fancy stuff with them? Really looks more like the latter, cause that Grimlock is clearly superior to most of them, especially that Menasor, who by all effects is nothing more than a Devastator Knock-Off..( and he is not the only Knock-Off TF in that contest ). Or that Unicron who scresm "Fat guy after horrible accident" to me.
Seriously, your grimlock is superior to those.

You seen Shockwave. It ook cool, but it was just too much. And the stunticons me did not like. I mean the guy didnt show the other robots compare to the guy who did Bruticus. KS design looks simple yet cool. I guess thats why Wheeljack is winning.

have to agree, though I do like some of the finalists, I definitely think this should have been in there too. I'm not a member so I can't vote, but of the ones who got through I'm rooting for Wheel jack.
A couple just seem to have put more thought into demonstrating various uses of the character rather than one STRONG image or Bio to describe them. I'm impressed that so many images could have been produced in the time scale, but I'm unimpressed that they swayed the judges quite so much.

Another movie is in being planned. I heard they are considering introducing unicron. There is also a tiny chance of the dinobots making an appearance.

Bay has claimed no dinos, so that probably means there will be. (Just like he claimed no Megatron in the sequel).
I suspect Unicron will show up at some point, but they may have to change his nature and back story, to avoid parallels to Galactus from the second fantastic four movie.
No official rumours regarding the plot of the second movie have been reported yet, Unicron is still only fan speculation.

I'm very curious to see what actually made it if this didn't Backstory, robot mode, dino mode, fiyah sword, transformation, different angle sketches, this one had everything :/. Makes me wonder which ones made it. Your Darkstalkers art got rejected too, must get your spirits down a bit.

Woah how did this NOT make it into the contest? I was looking at the other entries, and I really liked the Wheeljack, Bluestreak, Shockwave, Bruticus, and Sandstorm entries. The others though were kind of mediocre. Especially the Unicron design...it doesn't say "Unicron" to me, sure it's very intimidating but it just doesn't feel right. This right here is just the epitimy of awesomeness....it's a damned shame we won't be seeing the Dinobots in the movieverse due to the fact Michael Bay hates the Dinobots despite the fact they themselves create massive destruction and explosions....
