Ok having one of them eat the arcade game is a stroke of genius. Its been quite the few years for kaiju lately and Im loving it. There is a film coming out called The Meg I think which will star Jason Statham vs the giant prehistoric shark.

You see there were some movies that instantly got a video game version a few months after the movie was aired. I want to be honest here and say that's kind of a desperate way to make more money. Not to mention that some of the movie based games are cheap and the voice actors don't play their roles with so much feeling as they did in the movies.

Kinda disappointed that they changed so much about the original story and making Ralph FLY?? Did they do that just because his original version will let the furry community have a field day? Tbh I don't think a flying squirrel wolf would stop them...

Media needs to be able to evolve from one medium to another. The basic premise of an ape, a wolf, and a reptile being created by a botched corporate scientific experiment, leading to wholesale destruction where the monsters climb buildings, eat people, and fight the military.
All 3 monsters are made to be visually distinct and to work in this semi-serious sci-fi premise. And considering how Lizzie looks NOTHING like her game counterpart Iβm surprised youβre so focused on Ralph.
The various abilities Ralph has is a result of his DNA being altered with other animalsβ genetic codes, not unlike Indominus Rex.
Folks really have to let these changes go because they were ultimately for the better of a major tent pole summer film.

There's also the fact that there are literally hundreds of humanoid kaiju, and we've never really seen anything with an outright canine body plan tearing through a city.
