My first work while I'm here with you ladies & gentlemen...I must say that Saxon's song "Crusader" had an enormous influence on me during drawing this picture...what else can I say? I hope you like it. Forgive the lack of background but I wanted to focus on those fighting dudes...best regards

Well, not that i care either way, but you do know that crusaders, 'christen' crusaders, ate people.

You may not be "much for it," but most people are! You see, if you done Proper background check as well as an ACCURATE historical check, you would know that the atrocities committed by 'crusaders' are still a source of great anger for many many Muslim's today!
You should know, I don't feel the pain they do, I don't care what happened a thousand years ago, I'm saying YOU should!! You should know these things before you put them on the bloody Internet! You should know the offence you cause! YOU should know to be careful on this delicate subject! Next time you draw something historical or political, make sure your not insulting an Entire culture! Understood?

You mix two things. I have a free choice in what SPECIFIC AREA of the topic I decide to illustrate. Here I chose to show an old antagonism, without any hints and references to the modern times for which I don't give a damn, as they are not relevant to the topic of medieval mentality. Also i don't give a damn whether someone feels insulted by it, because this theme is not aimed to support any MODERN political or ideological point of view. Using your logic, making a movie where we show nazis shooting at Jews and humiliating should be forbidden, as it causes much pain among the Jewish people. Crusaders' strong dislike for the so called saracens is a fact, a fact with sad consequences for both of these groups. But nonethless it was a fact that i wanted to illustrate. Period.
