I've decided I want to do a series of short comics that show various scenes between the foxes of the two Tribes as sort of a pseudo-prologue to the main LCG comic. ;3 That way, you'll be able to get more familiar with the characters and their customs and I'll be able to find a comic format I like all at the same time!
Sad scene first. :c Sorin was really close to his mother, but she died when he was a young kit. He still remembers her well though. <3

How did Sorin's mother die? I feel really bad now because he's all sad
the 4th and 5th panels make it worse. I don't like seeing people depressed in comics, cause I get sad then. He used to be so happy!

I believe it is a "flashback" effect. The graytones emphasize that the scene is from the past, that which is only a memory, in contrast with the color and life of the present.

Awesome, I love the two panels of him catching the snowflakes in the past and present, it gives it a lot of emotional depth. I really love both these characters so far (though I already loved Sorin).

I absolutely LOVE how you drew the comparison as Sorin as a kit and an adult next to each other with the snowflake. Very touching, and very emotional. Wonderful job
