Back in 2008 I was not even aware that there are shipping wars
I was only into one fandom, and that was Harry Potter.
And I stuck to the canon couples, at least partially...
(wrote a Draco+OC fanfic because I hate Pansy!)
But also I think everyone can ship whoever they want.
In my head Zuko will always be with Katara.

ah that thing on Katara was supposed to be Zuko's BaSingSe robes -- it makes sense in the fanfic: Zuko does not turn on Aang in BaSingSe, but instead bonds with Katara in the Crystal Catacombs, (she heals his scar)Β and they fight against Azula, while Azula conquers BaSingSe and puts red Fire NationΒ flags all over it.

I notice Katara seems a little sullen about it...but it's still excellent, not for Zuko and as an illustration! Nice work!
