Description
Fig. 1 – Roughly 6.5 feet tall from claws to top of the head. Resembles a cross between cheetah and some kind of raptor. Head is flatter than usually seen in birds of prey, the body is long and lanky –much like a cheetah’s- and the spine is flexible. The whole body is covered in feathers, but without much down since warmer climates are her habitats. Kalamu is a good runner, but rarely exceeds 40 mph. However, she can run up to 50 mph over short distances if she has to. She’s a carnivore and her diet consists of anything she can fell as well as cadaversAn appendage for expressing emotions sits at the base of the neck and runs between the shoulders. It looks much like a cockatoo’s head crest and is used in exactly the same way; it’ll be raised when she’s scared, angry, stressed or excited. The tail is long and straight. The shape is much like a Harpy eagle’s, only longer and thinner. Both are in an iridescent purple colour
Fig 2 – She may seem a bit chunky, but underneath the ruffled coat of feathers it’s quite the opposite. She’s lean and muscled and the bones are strong enough to take almost any impact they might undergo during a hunt or fight
Fig 3 – Each foot has four toes pointing forward. The claws are straighter than usually seen in birds of prey since they’re made more for running than gripping and holding. The toe closest to the body one each foot is slightly longer and the claw on this one is half-moon shaped and a lot stronger than the rest. The toe can be raised from the ground, which it usually is to keep it sharp
Fig. 4.1 and 4.2 – Kalamu has eyes resembling those of a feline and not a bird by any means. The pupils are slitted like in a domestic cat and can widen into large black pools, nearly obscuring the iris entirely
Fig. 5 – Kalamu is a predator and prefers to hunt during the day, but if she has to she’ll hunt during nightime as well. She has excellent night vision— and quite a tongue

If Kalamu has excellent night vision, why she hunts during the day? Wouldn't it be better to hunt during night when preys can't see her?
By the way, great work!

Quite an excellent design. She is so...real. I highly appreciate the furless picture, that way we can see her anatomy. Your description is excellent and so full of knowledge, I noticed this especially in the foot description. I really love her anatomy, especially the back legs, they look pretty. Her markings and colouration are the best, purple and brown are one of my top favourite colour schemes.
