I’m sorry for all the grammar mistakes (though the netspeak was intentional) in this. Just pretend it was a teenage girl on crack who wrote it. I just hope I got my point acrossOh, and I don’t really care if you’re offended. The “ur just jelez” card won’t work; ‘cause I certainly ain’t! And if you’re asking if I’m talking about you I’ll simply ignore you.

EDIT: Besides the "Husky" the full text was cut off by Photoshop. It should read "But then I changed my mind! I didn’t want to draw a kawaii neko after all. Whit chibi-style the solution is easy, simply change the markings, and in some cases, accessories to get the animal you want! Suddenly the kitten is a Husky!"
I'll fix that later or something *sigh*

Awesome this is the best tutorial ever...seriously..
and I feel like I need to admit I drew chibi animals at one point, well it was more like a wolf that looked like a lion that looked like a dog type of thing it was a moment of weakness....It's really because I freaking hate drawing animals. D:

Well now I know how it should be done. Thank you. It is amusing because I am sure I have done pretty much everything in this tutorial, heck, it is amazing how many things you can turn horses into, and canines and cats? Who needs a difference! (I am glad you pointed that out so I feel better about myself now) What I think I will do, is go turn on like...Little Mermaid, and draw everything just like that from now on, start a trend, and then post long journals with words like "Come on kids," used a lot about how people are copying me. You just gave me confidence more than Superman boxers.

I'm going to be completely honest and admit that I like some of the complicated characters.
Sometimes they can be really cool when they're not giving you a seizure because of too many bright colours.
But you're right, it is starting to get overdone.
Also, I thought that the pot-belly pig design was fucking awesome.

I'm kind of sad because I can't draw realistic or Lion King style for shit. XD
But still..you know the whole cartoony style is getting a bit cliche every account here and there, like I couldn't get styles apart. Of course not as similar as all the kawaii desu neko type arts, but yeah.
I wish I could draw realistically. ;o;
But this put tape over the hole in my heart from lack of experience/overall talent currently. (MAYBE I SHOULD FOLLOW THIS GUIDE MOAR!!!!!!

I didn't get the joke at first, with the potbellied big (I just thought you were being rather pompous and ... jerky), but then I got it. o.o and I HAVE to agree. uhg, my character/fursona is so simple, and maybe she's not 'unique' or whatever but I love her and ... yes. D:

I love pigs, they're among my favourite animals, if not the favourite animal, and pot bellied pigs are just adorable. I know many in the furry fandom and 70% of the teenage population here on dA like cute and fuzzy canines better though xD

It's probably because they live in a pig... sty. Pigs don't sweat and to cool down they will roll in a puddle of mud or water (I’m guessing this is where their bad reputation comes from) and if they get the chance they will keep their "toilet” as far away from house and food as possible. Most petting zoo and farm pigs don't get enough space to do this. Another plus with pigs is that they don't shed simply because (mini)pigs don't have any fur xD
