I hope you find it useful to make a simple dotted background ^3^

I never really used the Filter menu very much before - I didn't know what it did, really XD - but now I'll be using it for dotted backgrounds like that ;D Thanks! ^^

paint tool sai has absolutly no filters except brightness/contrast and hue, so there isn't a colour halftone filter

maybe not specifically with the same settings, but from what I've heard about manga studio there are lots of halftone options.

when i do it it does so many different colours and not the ones i want D;

Just convert it to black and white. :3 Or turn the saturation all the way down, whatever.

the ctrl+click must be made in the layer or the layer palette, not clicking on something 8D
