Another concentration piece for my theme of baby animals, and in a sense, yes, these are baby animals, though they are simply encased in their eggs and have yet to hatch ^^
These are Mockingbird eggs, which happen to be Florida's state bird (for those that didn't know)
They were out at our agriculture land lab, and we went there after school since my brother was in FFA, doing something with plants, and the teacher mentioned how there was a nest with eggs in between some tomato pots. So I ran and grabbed my camera and took the photo (it's in my gallery somewhere), and now I drew it here
And no, I didn't touch them or the nest, and the mother was away at the moment, so I didn't threaten them in any way.
LOL my teacher said my eggs were sexy xDDDD
Though they look wobbly to me :/ I can't do perfect shapes/forms to save my life lol

Mocking Bird eggs are also the Texas state bird, where I'm from. ^^ Beautiful birds, I see them all the time. Their songs are really something else. I've heard Mocking Birds immitate various bird calls, car alarms, sirens, and even the crying of a baby once. Sometimes I find them outside of my house, and we'll whistle back in forth for a while. Mocking Birds are definatly one of my favorite birds. Beautiful picture of the eggs. I love the way the lighting strikes the eggs. Sometimes its hard to get that shine on smooth objects, but you did it fabously.

I noticed they're a lot of state's state bird c: I think I don't go a day without seeing one around here lol, they're everywhere it seems, and if I don't see them, I hear them <3 Their songs are really pretty, even if they do steal most from other birds xD Never heard one around here imitate sirens, babies, etc though.

i really liek this c:< i like the colors and stroked in da nest, that makes it look like twigs, which must be SUPERUBER hard to replicate D: I SEE SOME BLUES AND PINKZ IN DER. And i really like the eggs <3 I like the colors, and shading that make them look really round and i lav the little brown spots <3 and i dun think they're wobbly looking c: Actually, i find them quite round o.o

Omg the bg was D: I decided in the end to just swish back and forth to finish it in the art class because I was at a standstill with it forever xD I put so many different colors in it, and it still wouldn't look right, finally I got enough that once I blended it came together better c: I couldn't get the brown spots to look as close to the photo as I wanted x3; Really? Everytime I look at it, the edges seem so wobbly to me, and I can't see it as round unless I hold it back O-o; It irritates me xD;
