I was sending some advice to a young artist about drawing things as a whole (as opposed to getting caught up in the details early on) and I made a quick example to show how I might approach drawing a face - Starting simple and getting the layout and then building from there with the details coming last. I don't draw "anime" all that often anymore, but thought I might share this in case anyone finds it helpful
