People in my class come up to me and are like teach me how to draw plz! And i am like sure! And then they start to get bored of how to draw faces,ahhhh.........

metaphorically: before people can do complex algebra, they first need to learn 1+1=2, 3*3=9, etc and learn how to use a calculator. No different from art where you have to progress and need to learn your drawing tools.

I think every artists notices that.
But just by drawing simple line arts, you still at least need to understand proportions. (and yes, it's extremely hard for every starting artists, even to professional in certain cases too)
