So here's Saki again.
I really liked the sketch.
And I really like this CG.
It's been a while since I've liked both without hating one or the either!
I tried to go with "simple" or well, more simple than my usual colouring. Everything was opaque. It's been agessss since I've coloured this way in Photoshop. The last time I did it I think I was still using the mouse to draw on the computer.
Uhhhh. Anyways yeah. OAO!

I forgot. I should explain how he got the moles for those of you who have seen him around my gallery before. He didn't have them before but I decided it added more to his character after:

I used Photoshop CS2 and a genius pen tablet. I scanned the drawing though, it was drawn with pencil. X D

Thanks. When I take Saki (the bjd one LOL) and put him next to the light, his eyes really glow up too. So I suppose it's nice for someone to see that in this too!*V*~

In the past, I used to shade a lot with colours within the same tone range. Or the whole picture would be within the same tone. Sometimes that's okay, for effect, but then the way I did it looked dull. So now I try putting colours that strike against each other (like bright blue and red) or the shadows would be the opposite side of the colour wheel of the colour you're using. Red --> Green
= D Colour wheel helps + experimentation! I haven't coloured like this up until this year. XDD
