Sarafina and Misuli had 3 cubs together: Nala, Nadra, and Mheetu the first. Nala and Nadra are twins, while Mheetu was a bit younger than them. They are super close in age, as Sarafina grew pregnant again while still nursing the twins.So this picture is of Mheetu the second wanting to play fight with his mother, and Sarafina gets taken aback as it's the same thing her dearly departed son had said so long ago.
So what happened to Mheetu the first? He was murdered by the hyenas (ordered by Scar( at a very young age.. Scar hoped that killing him would bring her into heat and convince her to mate with him (as Misuli is already dead by this point). Obviously Scar wasn't successful into getting into her pants. She coldly rejected him, as she was disgusted he was trying to pull moves on her so soon after her son and her mate's untimely demise.
Why is Mheetu the second born after his dead half brother? Scar declared it so, intending to drive a knife into her heart every time she would hear or say his name.
