This is awesome!
I always loved the Grey Knights, and the DreadKnight is one reason why.

Thanks I'm tempted to paint some more Grey Knights with the new codex being released!

A bit advice, when doing the lightning try a very faint, broad strokes of the dark blue-ish color like you have already. Then follow up with a thinner layer of ice-blue type of color in the middle of that line, and finally a very thin line of pure white in the middle of most of those lines, but don't touch all the river-like tips. It'll give the appearance of a glowing flash at least to some degree.

Cheers for the tip! I might try that effect out on paper to see how it comes out.
To be honest, this result on all my Grey Knights, is the first time I've ever managed to paint any kind of lightning effect I've been happy with - but it could always stand improvement!

Roughly. The white/brightest lines don't have to be perfect, and for this example (I drew this up in like 8 minutes) I used too light of an ice shade. It's not the best, but it does the job very easily. People can tell it's supposed to be lightning.

Ah! A picture always helps. I'd not quite understood you properly the first time. I totally see what you mean now! I shall definately have to give this a go in future
On the plus side, even with my imperfect lightning, my Dreadknight still won Gold in the vehicle category the IMP games show in Sheffield, UK

Decent and clean paintjob. I used to play 40k but never reached tis level of painting-quality.

Thanks Its intended for the tabletop, so I tried not to go overboard - the back is pretty plain compared to the front, for example, but some of that lovely detail you just can't ignore!

Thanks Are you a 40k player, or just like the background? You've got plenty of nice art uploaded yourself!

I want to play, but I get really socially anxious around people and I don't have a lot of money. However, the background is awesome.
And... Wow thank you.

Yeah, it is downright expensive But a good group of players is worth a lot - although very hard to find!

I'll look for a group when I know the pressure of being in a social situation isn't going to break me again.
