From 2014, a photo of Lady Hawke, a Cooper's Hawk who had been rescued as a fledgling, then released, then turned up on my back porch a few months later. At the time she was struggling to survive: I helped her through that first winter and, as far as I know, she is still alive and well up in Santa Fe.
