Yep. I definitely have an obsession with hair!
This piece was inspired by the Northern Lights (Aurora Borealis), a phenomenon that I've always thought to be just beautiful and ethereal. I painted this piece following an idea of 'where the sky meets the sea', hence the strange glowing fishies and stars!

HAHHAHA NAH NAH NAH! There's a bit of hair, but what you see there is intended to be pure water! But very 'surrealistic' kinda water! It's just with the flowing lines it looks like hair, and I know I should stem away from it, but baby steps!

dawww, thanks. likewise. the thing that scare me most to draw are bare feet and hips in different perspectives. but I always face my fears and try to give them a can of whoop ass XD

Hips I don't mind, but FEET AND HANDS UGH I CANNOT DEAL HAHA. They are ridiculously complex! But also so beautiful in a weird way (hands, moreso). That's so good that you tackle the challenge though!

lol yea, they are tricky. hands are especially versatile cuz you can make them look menacing or elegant. They are almost like a character in themselves.
