Oh man, I don't think I ever saw this comment until now, when I peeked at the comments directly on the deviation page. So sorry it's taken me this long to reply! (Yeesh, this was from clear back in January...)
Anyway, go ahead and use the theory I talked about concerning Lloyd getting the tank back from the desert pilot, if you're still interested. I'm not the only one who has that in their headcanon, so I daresay it's "public domain".
