This case could also be made for a lot of artists in the mainstream comic industry, especially the ones who were around during the 90s.

This does seem to be a pretty common occurrence in a lot of media these days, huh? I've seen so many people who have little to no talent, and yet make good money, while actual talented artists some times get barely noticed.Β There's alsoΒ when a talented artist makes an awesome piece that took them 2+ hours to make and it gets little notice, while something that could take less than 20 minutes gets blasted with views, favs, and comments.

In the industry, putting out work consistently and on time beats out doing good work, unless you're indie.
