Description
I've had several people ask how I make the little, 'flat' felt plush toys I upload every now and again, so here's a tutorial explaining the basics. These plush toys are very fun and easy to make - as well as cheap. So if you're new to plush toys, these might be a good start if you want to work your way up. I hope the tutorial is at least easy enough to follow.
Here's finished versions of plush toys I've made using these steps:
Nightcrawler - [link]
Saix - [link]
Axel - [link]
Demyx - [link]
Jing - [link]
Xandir - [link]

Okay, okay, okay.
I have started to make Death Note versions of these dolls... except, I can't do the hair! QAQ
I dunno if you have a tutorial for that, but could you give me the basics to make decent hair for my little guys?
I shall love you forever.

TBH, I just cut them out at different angles and worked with them as a trial and error. There are some good tutorials out there for making plush hair (far better than mine!) if you try a DA or google search. :3

Good tutorial I was just wondering if there is a certain height they need to be?

KeyshaKitty In reply to ImRose [2009-08-21 03:46:54 +0000 UTC]
Nah, height is your choice but they're more fun if you make them smaller, as the additions you can add to them can be easier to find that way.

I just found my new holiday project! Yay! Unfortunately, the closest spotlight to me is an hour away in Hamilton, but theres a shop just like it called AJ's Emporium in Tauranga, so I'll go there.
Oly problem is my messy stitching, so I'll try find a sewing machine.
