WARNING: LARGE file ahead!!!I was simply blown away by how many people were interested in seeing a tutorial on how I draw the curls for my characters' hair.
So I figured, with all the response, I'd try and make a tutorial. It DID end up taking a long time to make, so I obviously won't be making alot of tutorials in future. X3 Still, I hope this gives some people an idea about how I do them - and ways that you can practice and learn with until you develop your own style.
As for the picture, it will eventually be another one of my berry princess'. This one for 'Blackberries'.

Is there a certain kind of markers you use? cause i can never get my stuff to come out like that and its really annoying

I use a mix of Tria, Pro copic and Prisma Markers (though Prisma the least because in all honesty, they're not THAT great). It just takes alot of practice and such to get markers working the way you want them too.

A very helpful tutorial! Along with curls, it helped with drawing hair itself a tiny bit. Thank you! Curls are something I have a bit of difficulty with, but now, hopefully, I won't. Good job, this is a great tutorial.

YAY XD I was actually drawing some curls earlier today, and I normally have no problem with them, but they drove me nutty, and these are pretty close to what I was doing, so THANK YOU SO MUCH. Very good timing

This has to be your best in-depth tutorial so far, it is very clear to read, and seing how I have a hard time with hair I will definately use this.

Its a logical flowing tute, but its hardly a realistic way to draw curly hair.

Well, no - it's a cartoony/anime way to draw them, as it's how I do it and I had people asking for me to make a tutorial on it. ^^
