To be honest, I'm not really that happy with this page compared to others I've done earlier in the chapter...but I am happy with some of the sketches for the up-coming pages, so I think I will be able to live with it.
And yes, yes...this means the Forbidden Jungle is going to be coming up in this chapter. Hohoho....the backgrounds are gonna be MURDER! Thank god I like doing outdoors BGs more than indoors. XD

<3<3<3 Sleepy Dax looks so wonderfully childlike. I just love the little 'pop' + the snowflakes (D his face totally makes me lol. I just loooooove the map and how its the only part thats in colour. : D

Love the Sculptor's dialogue. Also, the top pic of lil Jak looks really good! It's got just a bit of his older self in it- a perfect lead-in for adventure.

The splotch of colour for the map on all this grey toning is a beautiful touch, Kai. Also, Dax's little wake-up "Pop!" moment is so cute. And Jak's expression of either determination or of 'ooh let's get into trouble'? Great touch XD

actually hun i really like this page, i think it's visually beautiful, first of all i LOVE how the blue berry things are in colour, it's what the plot is about and integral to the story so it brings the readers eyes onto it when everything else is coloured in greys. also really like how you can tell it's wee daxter just from the outlines! nice design quality to just the daxter outline and having nothing but the freckles in there, such a nice touch, and so darned adorable!
oh dax, no one's forcing you to go anywhere, but follow Jak and you'll be fine, EEE i love to see little adventures they go on Kai! so cute, it's like i'm playing the game over and it's a cute wee cutscene!

That Forbidden Jungle.. EVERYONE goes in it. Why is it even Forbidden anymore? If they just called it 'The Jungle', less people would go inside and get mauled by whatever lived there that could actually maul you. ;3 Silly Sandover people.

I really like what ya' did with the toning on this page. Nice cool colors (the greys and those small hints of green and blue with 'dose berries) mixed in with those warm browns. There's just something really nice and home-y that I can't put my finger on.
