My dad and older brother have handled and fired these rifles before. and yes they are of higher quality than most other AK variants. He told me they rattle a hell of a lot less than the Type 56 that he had fired beforehand.

The AK's belonged to my dads friend, we own shotguns and muzzleloaders for the most part but that will change when i get the money to purchase a Rifle.

If you do more from Zastava Arms, some time in the unspecified future, you should definetly give M93 Black Arrow Anti-materiel rifle a try. It being one of the products Zastava Arms is most proud of.

I assume you meant if a civilian personnel can legally own a gun. I believe you can own a sidearm or a hunting rifle if you are registered and have a license.
But automatic weapons, especially ones that have been made exclusively for military purposes cannot be legally purchased or owned by civilians, unless they are employed by a security company.

Hmm, I've recently wondered if the Zastava M70 was based more so on the AKM due to the diagonal cut-out on the tip of the muzzle.=/
Either way, it still uses the Kalashnikov design, and it really is a fine example of non-Russian AK47-type rifles! Good work here, my friend!

Aha, the "Finnish AK-47" eh? Have fun with that! I look forward to seeing it. I'm sorry I haven't gotten any good gun drawings out lately, I should get on that.
