yeah they did use that stuff...they also had a lot of ww2 era American M5A1 light tanks...and I think they had a few panzer 4's as well (and I brought up theT-34/85 with the rubber armour earlier and I found a pic of it: upload.wikimedia.org/wikipediaβ¦Β )

I own a Yugo 8mm Mauser M24/47 from Zastava, but I'm having some problems like finding the right ammo. It can fire ammo from Winchester though.

Where did the rifle came from, was it an original Russian rifle (1891/30 or any of the variants, 1891 afterwards) or something else?

It was made in 1948, it's an M44 Carbine model with a side folding bayonet. I got it at a Big Five Sporting Goods store in Fresno.
