Alright, so I finally finished a reference for Momodragon for everybody that wanted to see one-- It's not the perfect execution that I would have hoped for, but with luck and hard work the character and my style will grow a great deal. So there's time for perfection later!This sort of thing has been long overdue anywho, with people being kind enough to draw her but me not having anything for them to go on! D: I'll promise myself to come back to her and give her a better drawing and a fleshed-out model sheet, some day. For now, I need to develop my skills a bit more. I want to enter a more professional space soon, and I'll be expecting more from myself as that happens.
I worked on her design, and started growing as an artist, in the company of a lot of other dragon artists who taught me a great deal-- but I feel now's the time to really set my heart on branching out and doing something new from my inspirations. The only problem is I have no idea where, specifically, I want to end up from here. I guess it'll be an adventure!
Anyway, thank you to everybody who's already art of her so far, it's really nice of you and I'm always surprised :'D I, err, promise to have some things ready besides boring reference sheets soon!

Mokoro's my avatar/main character of sorts, so I want to polish her more and more as time goes on. I think it's already time for a new drawing.

Thank you! Her design's something that means a lot to me, I intend to keep ironing it out as the years go by. I would love any art you did of her, but no worries! This reference sheet avoids drawing the near wing in order to display the design elements on the back, like the fluff. She'll have her own full-character drawing someday soon on a full reference sheet, though! And I've done plenty of dual-wing illustrations in the meantime.

This is gorgeous, Mo! <3<33 I am glad to see you have done a full body reference of Momo! I love the details and the muscles and her overall design! You've designed her beautifully, and the lines are amazing! I wish I could draw with lines like that, they are so smooth and very neat. I love the way her wings are drawn as well! I really love the way her primaries look! With only a faint line, they look amazing! <3<33
Also, Momo's colours are very soft and warm, she is extremely eye catching I think! :D
She is a really unique and is a beautifully designed character and I aspire to have a character as unique as your Momo <3

Awaigoihaw Rutai you are the sweetest :'D You will -definitely- design things that are even -better-, I'd say! You've got all the enthusiasm you'll need. From then on it's just building off of what you can see in the real world and what the people around you can teach you, and I'm still working on that. We can both work on it!
The pen tool in Sai makes lining easier than in photoshop, because the software uses a smoothing mechanic to emulate real pen strokes. Paint Tool Sai is available free, I think, so if you want to try it out you should get it! :3

Hmm, yeah! Momodragon's not exactly super 'elegant--' I do want her to be a bit stocky and short, both for the sake of feasible flying and having a cute and unusual design, but I see what you mean! I should make sure to draw more elegant dragons too, to even it all out
